What happens at my Appointment?
First I shall ask you well-being questions, and note your answers on a questionnaire designed by the Association of Reflexologists. When completed, and there are no medical reasons why you shouldn’t have Reflexology, (contra-indications) I will prepare your unique Reflexology Treatment Plan to suit your needs.
Please allow ninety minutes for the initial consultation.
The day before your appointment
we complete anAOR Covid 19 Risk Assessment form together over the phone.
If you prefer to sit in your comfy armchair, I have a purpose made footstool to rest your legs on. You may recline, fully supported on a portable recliner (Lafuma) or relax on your bed. For your convenience, I supply freshly laundered towels and blankets for all Reflexology Treatments.
You remove your shoes and socks and relax. I apply your chosen balm with a medium pressure to your feet. Allow yourself to feel comfortable and confident with the calming experience of finger and thumb movements. Give yourself permission to be -*peaceful* *chat* *sleep*. I shall follow your lead. This is all about you.
Treatment includes an Endocrine Balance – a technique excellent for symptoms of menopause – and thyroid issues in particular, a Chakra Balance and a caring foot massage to close. (Please bring socks). It is beneficial to keep essential oils on your feet for twenty four hours.
You will receive an aftercare advice sheet including a list of essential oils used if appropriate.

Reiki is a system of natural healing.
We live in a world of energy that nourishes and maintains all living things. When this energy flows uninterrupted there is balance and harmony within and around us, and we experience a sense of well being.
In essence Reiki treatments can help the body emotionally or spiritually. It is a tradition that is open to any belief system. Reiki can be used alongside other conventional or complementary treatments and often helps to provide emotional support during recovery.
During Reiki treatments The recipient remains clothed and lies on a couch or sits on a chair and relaxes. The practitioner gently places their hands in a series of non-intrusive positions on or near the body. There is no massage or manipulation.
Session length may vary depending on the client’s needs.
Shamanism is the most ancient spiritual and healing practice known to man. In fact, shamanism and shamanic healing date back to over 100,000 years and have been practised all across the globe – well before our current technologies of communication were possible.
In the shamanic perspective, true healing – spiritual healing – cannot be done on a physical level. Healing means to return to wholeness, and returning to wholeness is purely an inside job. Spiritual healing addresses the root — the spiritual — problems that cause dis-ease.
Shamanic healing involves the moving and manipulating of the energy of another’s body and interacts with the spirit realm, healing takes place within the spirit of the individual.

Ear candling is an ancient treatment carried out with the client fully clothed. The treatment includes a massage to the face neck and ears. This adds to the beneficial effects of the treatment as it stimulates the circulation of blood carrying oxygen and nutrients to the tissues and encouraging the elimination of waste through the blood and lymphatic system.
